Journal Thing

Wed Jul 8, 2009, 5:30 AM
I feel stupid writing this journal thing, just seems a bit pathetic and I've got nothing to talk about. I've been learning Adobe After effects and the small amount of people who are going to read this (if any) can check out what ive done so far [link]

Oh yeah, ad its my Birthday on Sunday. Finally 18, one of the last among my frineds. the summer is the best time for a birthday unless its your 18th year because it means your the last one to reachthe milestone and cant join in going to town.

Magazine Slagging

Fri Jun 12, 2009, 1:41 AM
Had my final exam yesterday, it was media. i think i fucked it up a little, the first half was fine about Horror genre but the second half about the magazine industry was rather terrible. i got really pissed of with it by the end and started slagging off magazines. Oh well nothing i can do and anyway it was only a small percentage of my overall media A Level which ive got straight A so far.

Me and a friend have decided to go and see Frank Turner at Leeds Met in Oct that should be great and im looking forward to his supporting act Beans on Toast. Should also get to see Frank at Leeds Fest this year. Cant wait :)

Just finished Year 13, put up my final exhibition for my A Level Art last week, got some good feedback from teachers and people at school.

Got a pack sent from York College about the foundation course. Going to some remote castle in the second week of term and Barcelona in November, Cant wait to start but in the mean time they have given us a summer project with the theme Sea Creatures and i've been given the task to make a Swordfish, should be fun.

Art exam is over and I'm fucking knackered

Had enough art this week so hers something different...

George Orwell

"There was of course no way of knowing whether you were being watched at any given moment. How often, or on what system, the Thought Police plugged in on any individual wire was guesswork. It was even conceivable that they watched everybody all the time. But at any rate they could plug in your wire whenever they wanted to. You had to live—did live, from habit that became instinct—in the assumption that every sound you made was overheard, and, except in darkness, every movement scrutinized."

Doesn't that sound scarily true?
